I am an ‘integrative’ counsellor, which means that I am trained in a variety of therapy approaches which can be adapted to the individual. I trained as a counsellor after a long career in the NHS working with neurodiverse and disabled children and their families. I recognised an unmet need for counselling support for carers and healthcare professionals, as well as people with chronic health conditions and disabilities. I have experience as a Cruse Bereavement Support Volunteer, and in working with trauma caused by a broad range of life experiences.
